Arnold Snyder

This book stands out from the crowd of puzzle-centric books, or those that merely skim through Sudoku solving techniques. It is the first comprehensive guide for both beginners and seasoned players, offering insights on how to crack even the most challenging puzzles for enhanced fun and accomplishment. The Sudoku Formula 3 boasts over 100 pages filled with puzzles, coupled with detailed step-by-step solutions.

Snyder elucidates straightforward methods to identify patterns that help solve even the toughest expert-grade puzzles swiftly and easily, in addition to 200 fresh mental exercises. He guides players on how to triumph over the puzzles using the same methodology that has earned him a best-selling status in the gaming arena.

The third installment of this Sudoku skill-enhancing book series is commendable. It is well articulated and provides numerous examples for practice. However, my issue isn’t with this book specifically, or the other books individually, but rather with the entire series.

There’s an excessive amount of redundancy. A single book, divided into various sections, would be more beneficial. The expense of the second and third books doesn’t truly compensate for the benefits, given the level of repetition.

Moreover, the repetitive content doesn’t sufficiently help to bypass the need for acquiring the preceding books. Thus, while the marketing techniques may be advantageous for the author and publisher, they aren’t as beneficial for the customer. I would prefer one book with multiple sections.
