About the Author

Arnold Snyder is a renowned figure in the world of blackjack, having spent several years as a professional player who placed high stakes. For over two decades, he has been sharing his insights about casino blackjack through his writings. His inaugural book, The Blackjack Formula (1980), introduced novel strategies that professional card counters could use to improve their game. Between 1981 and 2004, he served as the editor of Blackjack Forum, a quarterly publication that provided gambling insights for professional players.

Over the past two decades, he has written hundreds of articles on the subject of casino blackjack, which have been published in numerous publications. He has made appearances (while disguised) on the Travel Channel and in The Hot Shoe, a 2003 documentary about card counting. He earned the distinction of being one of the seven initial members inducted into the Blackjack Hall of Fame.
